     ABOUT THE NEXT (Eight) SESSION OF MONASTIR INTERNATIONAL PLASTIC ARTS FESTIVAL

(Septembre 2010)

  

                 Some clarifications about the Monastir International Festival of Plastic Arts

1) In addition to the regular activities that our organization performs all year long such as exhibitions ,workshops, giving courses in painting, it holds the International Festival of Plastic Arts by the end of every summer. First, this manifestation aims at providing painters with an ample opportunity to build relations with artists from all over the world. Second, another objective is to set up an international museum of plastic arts containing selected artistic works made by former participants in the previous sessions of the festival.

2) Every painter who is going to take part in the coming session should be professional one with both national and international reputation. The organization will send invitations to candidates after studying their résumés.

3) On the basis of the suggestions of the majority of painters who have participated in the previous sessions of the festival and to improve the organization’s services we have taken the following measures.

First, participants should chip in with certain amount of money and we will tell him/her about the exact amount when sending the invitation directly to the painter.

Second, the amount should be paid to the accountant of the organization on the first day of the festival.

4) The program of the festival: workshops, sightseeing tours and so on is usually planned on the basis of the suggestions of the previous participants and the financial conditions of the organization

5) The organization will send free invitations to no more than two painters who are members of the organizations which have been twined with ours provided that they get the official approval of the president of the organization and their admission will be within the limits of the official program of the coming session.

6) Participants can be accompanied by other people such spouses, children or friends provided that they pay for their accommodation. Participants will know about the admission fees when they get the invitation. Companions of painters will have to pay different admission fees from the participants themselves; however, they will enjoy the same advantages and facilities as the participants themselves such as free trips, sightseeing tours, admission to museums ,parties and so on.

7) The accommodation charges of participants as well as their companions will be completely paid by the organization during the festival time. It will be possible for participants to stay for only a couple of additional days if painters find any trouble with the timing of the flights. Once the festival is over, painters who would like to stay for more days should pay for their accommodation whatever is the reason.

8) The organization isn’t in charge of providing transportation for the painters and their companions.

9) Each painter is expected to do at least two paintings during the festival. In case he/she does more than two, of one’s own will, these paintings remain the property of the organization. If the paintings are done on the painter’s own canvas, he/she is free to decide whether to sell them, donate them or take them back home.

10) The paintings produced during the festival remain the property of the organization that will manage it freely. A number of paintings selected by appointed committee will be displayed in the future permanent art galley in Monastir.

11) In order to encourage painters to be creative and innovative, we have decided to choose the “Best painting of the session”. The voting takes place secretly and the voters are the artist participants themselves. The title winner will be invited as the guest of honour of the following session. In addition, he/she will be granted a free participation in the coming festival as well as

€ 250 as a contribution from the organization for his/her round trip ticket. The participant will automatically lose this privilege once he/she won’t be able to be available on the following session of the festival.

12) Painters should bring or buy their necessary material (colours, paintbrushes and so on). However, the organization will provide medium size canvas for everyone.

13) Reproduction of other paintings is strictly forbidden even if it was the reproduction of postcards. Every offender will assume the consequences of his/her fault.

14) The organization is in charge of recording all the festival activities on its own expenses.

15) The organization welcomes warmly any Tunisian or foreign person, company or association that likes to help it in order to develop the festival either by sponsoring or giving financial support.

16) Once the participant painter comes to attend the festival, this automatically implies that she/ he has read all points and accepted them without any conditions or reservation.

2- It has been settled to invite the Turk painter SEVDA MANT SEN from Turkey to participate at the EIGHTH session of the festival in her capacity as guest of honour since she have obtained the certificate of the best artistic painting during the last session of the festival.

3- The priority for participation should be given to those coming from the countries witch have never taken part in the previous sessions of the festival.

4- We hope that the next session, witch is the seventh, will be characterized by the openness of our international museum.

5- Period of the festival : Sept 20 To Sept 30 / 2010 ( Could be modified )
6- Program : not yet established
7- PARTICIPANTS /those taking part in that session :

The composition of Participants at the next session (September 2010) will be as follows:

1 - a guest of honour ( SEVDA MANT SEN)
2 - Artists Painters who have never participated in previous sessions of the festival. Only those artists , who will be the maximum number of 20, who will participate in a formal way to the workshops of the session. The paintings created will be owned by the ABAM .
3 -artists who have already participated in previous sessions of the festival and who come to live again the atmosphere of the festival and attend the opening of the International Museum of Monastir. These artists are free to participate or not participate in the workshops. If positive, and they have worked on canvas belonging to the association, these paintings creation is for the ABAM, otherwise, this work may be kept or sold or offered by its creators.
As the number of participants is limited, the requests for participation dates will be taken into consideration . Artists have to send , FROM NOW , their application to the association

Faveur Aux artistes : chaque artiste ayant participé à l’une des sessions précédente du festival est supposé automatiquement adhérant a l’ABAM ; par conséquent nous avons l’honneur de vous informer que l’administration de l’hôtel  les palmiers -lieu  du déroulement du festival- accorde à ces artistes, ainsi que leurs membre de familles, une réduction de 20 % sur les prix affichés de logement à l’hôtel et ce durant leurs séjour à l’hôtel, toute l’année, à l’éxception de la période du déroulement du festival + et - sept jours qui est une période réservée à la charge de l’ABAM .

   Favor For artists : each artist who participated in one previous sessions of the festival is supposed to automatically adhering at the ABAM, therefore we have the honor to inform you that the administration of the hotel les palmiers , instead of running the festival grant to these artists ,and their member families,  20% reduction on the price displayed  accommodation during their stay in this hotel, all year, except the period of the festival + and - seven days  time reserved for the charge of ABAM.

ايضاحات حول مهرجان المنستير الدولي للفنون التشكيلية

 

1. إضافة إلى الأنشطة العادية التي تقوم بها على طول السنة من معارض وورشات ودروس في الرسم، تنظم جمعيّة الفنون الجميلة بالمنستير المهرجان الدّولي للفنون التشكيليّة في آخر كل صيف، من كل سنة وتسعى من خلاله إلى ربط العلاقات مع العديد من الفنانين من جميع أنحاء العالم وإلى بعث متحف دوّلي للفنون التشكيلية يضمّ أعمالا فنيّة أنجزت في المنستير من طرف المشاركين في المهرجان.

2. يكون المشاركون في المهرجان من الرسامين المحترفين من ذوي الشهرة الوطنية والعالميّة وقد توجّه لهم الدعوة، من طرف الجمعية بعد الاطلاع على سيراتهم الذاتية عبر مواقعهم الألكترونيّة أو بعد إبدائهم الرغبة في المشاركة.

3. يقع إنجاز برنامج كل دورة من دورات المهرجان، من حيث الورشات والرحلات والتنشيط، بالاعتماد على عملية سبر لآراء المشاركين في الدورات السابقة للمهرجان وحسب الظروف المادية للجمعية.

4. اعتمادا على اقتراحات أغلب المشاركين في الدورات السابقة وعملا بنصائحهم لضمان ديمومة المهرجان والمضيّ به نحو الأفضل دون اثقال كاهل الجمعيّة، تقرّر أن تكون المشاركة في أشغال المهرجان بمعلوم مالي يقع الإعلام به ضمن دعوة المشاركة الموجهة شخصيا للرسام كما تقرر أن يدفع هذا المعلوم من طرف المشارك إلى أمين مال الجمعيّة في اليوم الأوّل من افتتاح المهرجان.

5. تقبل جمعية الفنون الجميلة بالمنستير رسامين اثنين (2) بصفة مجانيّة من كل جمعيّة متوأمة معها بشرط أن يكون ذلك باقتراح رئيس الجميعّة وتبنّيه لهما بصفة رسمية وذلك في حدود ما احتوى عليه البرنامج الرسمي لدورة المهرجان.

6. يمكن للمشاركين أن يصطحبوا معهم أشخاصا آخرين كالقرين أو الأبناء أو الأصدقاء بشرط دفع "معلوم المرافق" الذي يحدّد سنويا ويقع الاعلام به في رسالة الدعوة للمشاركة. مع العلم وأن المصاحب يتمتع خلال فترة المهرجان بكل ما يتمتّع به الرسام من مجانية المشاركة في الرحلات والسهرات الترفيهية المبرمجة للمهرجان والإقامة الكاملة بنفس النزل : السكن وفطور الصباح والغذاء والعشاء.

7. إقامة الرسامين والمصاحبين لهم تكون على حساب الجمعية طيلة مدّة المهرجان مع إمكانيّة إضافة يومين آخرين إن تعذّر التنسيق بين مواعيد المهرجان والسفر ذهابا وإيابا. ويتكفل الرسام أو المصاحب بدفع معلوم الأيام الإضافية إن أطال إقامته في نفس النزل وذلك مهما كان السبب.

8. لا تضمن الجمعية نقل الرسام ومن معه بين مقرّ الإقامة والمطار وذلك بالنسبة لكل المطارات التونسيّة إلاّ في حالات قاهرة واستثنائيّة هذا وتكون الكلفة في كل الأحوال على حساباتهم الخاصة.

9. كل رسام مشارك مدعوّ لانجاز عملين اثنين خلال التظاهرة لكن، وفي صورة قيامه أكثر من عملين، بمحض إرادته، تبقى هذه الأعمال أيضا ملكا للجمعيّة مهما كان عددها أو حجمُها إلا إذا أنجزت على قماشات (canvas) لا تعود ملكيّتها للجمعيّة، بحيث يحُقّ لصاحبها آنذاك التصرف فيها بكل حريّة فيمكن أن يبيعها لصالحه أو أن يهديها أو أن يحملها معه عند العودة.

10. الأعمال المنجزة خلال التظاهر تبقى ملكا للجمعيّة المنظمة للمهرجان، تتصرف فيها التصرف التام وبكل حريّة مع العلم وأن أغلبيّة هذه الأعمال الفنيّة مخصّصة للعرض في المتحف الدّولي للفنون التشكيلية المزمع إنشاؤه في أقرب وقت ممكن بمدينة المنستير. وذلك بعد فرزها من طرف لجنة تضم فنانين من ذوي الخبرة والاختصاص.

11. سعيا لتشجيع الرسامين وحثهم على التفاني من أجل الخلق والإبداع في ورشات العمل، تتوّج كل دورة من المهرجان باختيار "أحسن عمل الدورة" يقع اختياره من طرف الرسامين المشاركين أنفسهم بالاقتراع السرّي. يقع دعوة صاحب العمل المميّز "كضيف شرف الدورة الموالية" مع مجانيّة المشاركة فيها ومساهمة في كلفة السفر بمعلوم قدره 250 €. يفقد الرسام هذا الامتياز في صورة تعذّره عن المشاركة في السنة الموالية.

12. الرسام المشارك مطالب بجلب أدواته الخاصة للرسم من فرشات وألوان وغيرها وتوفّر له الجمعيّة القماشات(canvas) من الحجم المتوسّط.

13. الأعمال المنقولة غير مقبولة ولو كانت لبطاقات بريديّة. يتحمل الرسام لوحده عواقب أخطائه.

14. تخلّد أعمال كل دورة من دورات المهرجان في ألبوم خاص تنجزه الجمعيّة لاحقا على نفقاتها الكاملة.

15. ترحب الجمعية بكل شخص أو مؤسسة أو منظمة، تونسيّة كانت أو أجنبيّة، ترغب في معاضدتها على تطوير المهرجان وازدهاره سواء كان بالاحتضان أو المساعدة المادية.

16. كل رسّام مشارك في المهرجان يعتبر بمجرّد حضوره فيه أنه إطّلع على ما ذكر أعلاه وقبله بدون تحفّظ أو شرط وملزم على احترامه طيلة مشاركته في الدورة.
